Vinh Long Branch – PVOIL Bac Lieu: Stabilizing After Restructuring, Confident in New Opportunities

In 2025, PVOIL implemented the merger of PVOIL Tra Vinh into PVOIL Bac Lieu, forming the Vinh Long Branch. Following the merger, the unit maintained operational stability, ensured employment, and preserved all benefits and policies for former PVOIL Tra Vinh employees. As a result, employees remained confident in their work, contributing directly to business performance in January 2026, which exceeded targets and showed growth compared to the same period—fostering optimism for a promising new year.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr Le Van Nghia – Member of the Board of Directors of PVOIL, emphasized that the Corporation’s restructuring efforts aim to enhance development and improve employee well-being. He affirmed that the leadership will continue implementing solutions to ensure employment, income, and benefits for employees. He encouraged the collective of Vinh Long Branch to strengthen unity and work together toward shared goals, contributing to the development of both the unit and the Corporation.

Mr Mai Xuan Hai – Chairman of the PVOIL Trade Union – affirmed that the Corporation’s Trade Union will always accompany employees and continue to take care of their material and spiritual well-being. He expressed his hope that every employee will maintain confidence in the Corporation’s strategic direction and strive to contribute wholeheartedly to shared goals. The Trade Union also called on employees to continue promoting their roles and effectiveness in their respective positions, thereby creating collective strength for the development of their units and Vietnam Oil Corporation..

On this occasion, PVOIL leadership and Trade Union presented VND 150 million to support Tet gifts for all employees of Vinh Long Branch – PVOIL Bac Lieu. This meaningful support serves as a strong source of encouragement as employees step confidently into a new phase of development.

Tet Visits and Support for Petromekong and PVOIL Trans Employees

On the same day, the delegation visited, encouraged, and provided support to employees of Petromekong.

Despite facing numerous challenges, Petromekong has maintained strong unity and continuous efforts. Entering 2026, the company expects breakthroughs driven by new business policies associated with the roadmap for E10 biofuel production and trading. Leveraging these opportunities will enhance production capacity, improve business performance, and ultimately raise employee living standards.

As a representative of PVOIL leadership and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petromekong, Mr Le Van Nghia expressed deep understanding of the unit’s specific challenges. He acknowledged that Petromekong has overcome many difficulties in a challenging business environment and expressed confidence that the company will achieve its targets in the new year.

Representing the Trade Union, Mr Mai Xuan Hai expressed appreciation for Petromekong’s leadership in maintaining stable employment for more than 600 employees despite unfavorable business conditions. He encouraged employees to recognize the company’s efforts and continue striving to fulfill their professional responsibilities, contributing to overall business results in 2026. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year, he extended wishes of health and happiness to all Petromekong employees and their families, expressing confidence in the company’s continued growth and success.

The delegation presented VND 400 million to support Tet gifts for 200 employees in difficult circumstances at Petromekong. This meaningful activity contributes to strengthening solidarity and unity within the PVOIL family.

As part of the visit, the delegation also met with and extended Tet greetings to employees of PVOIL Trans, who operate tanker fleets in the Southwest region. Employees were encouraged to remain confident and committed to fulfilling their responsibilities during the peak Tet period.
