“Connected Spring – Caring Tet” Brings Warmth to PVOIL Employees in the Northern Region
08.02.2026
Under the theme “Petrovietnam: Connected Spring – Caring Tet”, on February 7, at Petec Hai Phong Petroleum Enterprise, Vietnam Oil Corporation – JSC (PVOIL), through its Trade Union, organized a Lunar New Year celebration program for more than 200 officers, employees, and workers from units operating in the Northern region, including PETEC, PVOIL Ha Noi, PVOIL Hai Phong, PVOIL Dinh Vu, PVOIL Cai Lan, PVOIL Hung Yen, PVOIL Thanh Hoa, and Thai Binh PSC.
Speaking at the program, Ms Nguyen Linh Giang – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Member of the Board of Directors of PVOIL, stated that 2025 was a year of significant fluctuations and challenges for the Corporation, particularly amid volatile global oil prices. However, thanks to the unity and continuous efforts of the leadership and employees, PVOIL maintained growth momentum and achieved impressive results. Alongside business operations, caring for the material and spiritual well-being of employees has always been a valued tradition of the Corporation. The program “Connected Spring – Caring Tet” not only embodies the spirit of sharing at year-end but also reflects the deep concern of the leadership and Trade Union for employees—especially those working at depots and petroleum retail outlets who must maintain continuous operations during the Tet period.
Mr Mai Xuan Hai – Chairman of the PVOIL Trade Union, expressed his emotion at meeting a large number of employees at year-end. The gathering served not only as an opportunity for exchange and sharing but also as a moment to reflect on the past year, strengthen solidarity, and foster a spirit of emulation for the new year. On behalf of the Trade Union, Mr Mai Xuan Hai extended his gratitude to the Corporation’s leadership and member units for their continuous attention to employment, income, benefits, and policies for employees throughout 2025—helping them feel secure in their work and remain committed to their roles.
At the program, the Organizing Committee directly presented financial support from the Petrovietnam Trade Union to employees in difficult circumstances. In addition, PVOIL leadership and the Trade Union presented Tet gifts to petroleum retail outlets, depots, and transport teams working tirelessly to ensure uninterrupted operations. Red lucky envelopes were also handed out, conveying wishes of prosperity, happiness, and success for the new year.
Sharing her thoughts, Ms Doan Thi Lan Anh from PVOIL Dinh Vu said:
“The ‘Connected Spring – Caring Tet’ program is not only an annual activity but also a meaningful occasion for employees to truly feel the care and companionship of the Corporation’s leadership and Trade Union. Warm greetings, thoughtful gifts, and sincere handshakes bring a sense of closeness and appreciation. Amid the busy year-end period, having the chance to pause and gather with colleagues is truly valuable”. She added that such warm moments provide motivation and encouragement for employees to continue striving in the new year.
For Mr Ho Van Quy from PVOIL Thanh Hoa, the program was an opportunity to reflect on a year of efforts and gain motivation for the future:
“Petroleum business always involves pressure. Participating in such warm and meaningful gatherings helps us gain positive energy, strengthen solidarity, and deepen our connection within the system. Being cared for and encouraged by leadership and the Trade Union makes me feel proud and motivated to contribute even more to PVOIL.”
Representing employees of PVOIL Hung Yen, Ms Nguyen Thi Hoan and Mr Tran The Vinh also shared their appreciation for the program.
Ms Hoan expressed:
“Working at operational sites often requires shift rotations. Therefore, opportunities to gather like this make us feel warm and connected. These simple yet sincere moments strengthen the bond among employees.”
Mr Vinh added:
“Year-end is always busy, balancing work and family preparations. Participating in this program and meeting colleagues from different units helps ease the pressure and provides motivation to continue fulfilling my responsibilities.”
Closing in a joyful and uplifting atmosphere, the “Connected Spring – Caring Tet” program left a lasting impression on PVOIL employees. Beyond providing material and spiritual care during the Tet season, the program strongly reflects PVOIL’s culture of compassion, responsibility, and close companionship between leadership, the Trade Union, and employees. Through meaningful and practical activities, the program contributes to strengthening solidarity, fostering trust, and motivating employees to continue dedicating themselves to the sustainable development of PVOIL in the new phase.

“With the guiding principle that ‘All union members and employees can celebrate Tet and enjoy a joyful Year of the Horse,’ Vietnam National Industry – Energy Group (Petrovietnam), together with its Trade Union and member units, has implemented the program ‘Petrovietnam: Connected Spring – Caring Tet.’ This program represents a peak period of care and support, enabling employees to feel secure in their work while joining the nation in celebrating a joyful, safe, and meaningful Lunar New Year. The program focuses on frontline production workers, prioritizing those on duty during Tet at factories, construction sites, and key projects; employees working on offshore platforms and vessels; those involved in overseas oil and gas projects; and employees facing difficult circumstances, including those affected by workplace accidents, occupational diseases, serious illnesses, or belonging to policy beneficiary families. At the same time, the program provides support to key projects, units in remote areas, and those affected by storms and floods, enabling them to organize activities that care for both the material and spiritual well-being of employees, as well as local communities and disadvantaged households, ensuring a warm and meaningful Tet celebration. |
