PVOIL: Lively Wall Newspaper Contest “50 Years – Pride of Petrovietnam”

Recently, Vietnam Oil Corporation – JSC (PVOIL) organized a Wall Newspaper Contest themed “50 Years – Pride of Petrovietnam”, as part of a series of dynamic emulation activities creating a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam National Industry – Energy Group (Petrovietnam); the contest contributes to promoting Petrovietnam’s cultural values as well as PVOIL’s corporate culture.

The contest received enthusiastic participation from all 13 out of 13 divisions and offices of PVOIL. The wall newspapers featured diverse and creative content presented in various forms such as drawings, photographs, newspaper and magazine clippings, along with original and curated writings, songs, and prose. The content closely reflected the professional fields and daily work of PVOIL’s divisions and offices.

Following the evaluation process, the Jury presented awards to the outstanding entries. Specifically, the First Prize was awarded to the Human Resources Division for the work ‘Proud to Keep the Flame of Excellence’. Two Second Prizes were presented to the Finance & Accounting Division for ‘50 Years – Pride of Petrovietnam’ and the Party–Mass Organizations Office for ‘Unity for Success’. Three Third Prizes were awarded to the Planning Division (The Green Transition Journey), the Petroleum Products Trading Division (A Letter to the Future: To the Future Where the Petroleum Spirit Forever Shines), and the Internal Controller Division (Strong Foundations, Breakthrough Future).

In addition, seven Consolation Prizes were awarded to entries from the following divisions and offices: the Crude Oil Division (Building the National Energy), the Office (Pioneering), the Investment & Construction Division (PVOIL Rising Together with the Nation), the Jet A1 Business Preparation Division (Jet A1 – Energy Taking Flight, Carrying Forward 50 Years of Petrovietnam Tradition), the Information Technology Division (From Zero to Hero), the Legal Division (PVOIL – The Flame of the Journey), and the Safety Engineering Division (Keeping the Legacy Flame, Shaping the National Energy)  

Ông Mr Nguyen Ngoc Ninh – Chief Accountant of PVOIL – and Mr Mai Xuan Hai – Secretary of the PVOIL Youth Union – present seven Consolation Prizes to the Crude Oil Division, the Office, the Investment & Construction Division, the Jet A1 Business Preparation Division, the Information Technology Division, the Legal Division, and the Safety Engineering Division.

The contest served as both a meaningful platform and an opportunity for PVOIL employees to revisit knowledge of the petroleum sector, while expressing pride in being part of the contributions to Petrovietnam’s 50-year journey of formation and development.
