PVOIL and VRG Explore Cooperation Opportunities for Sustainable Development

On the afternoon of June 6, 2025, PetroVietnam Oil Corporation (PVOIL) and Vietnam Rubber Group (VRG) held a working session to discuss potential cooperation opportunities.
This session marked the implementation of the Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement between the Vietnam National Industry – Energy Group (Petrovietnam) and VRG, which was signed in May 2025.
Attending the meeting on behalf of VRG were Mr. Tran Cong Kha – Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Truong Minh Trung – Vice President, along with leaders of functional departments and the Group Office.
On the PVOIL side, attendees included Mr. Cao Hoai Duong – Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Nguyen Mau Dung – Member of the Board of Directors, Mr. Le Trung Hung – Vice President, and leaders of functional departments and member units of PVOIL.
During the session, both parties introduced an overview of their business operations, organizational models, and development strategies for the 2025–2030 period. They discussed and identified areas for potential cooperation.
The session yielded many positive outcomes, marking the beginning of a collaborative relationship between PVOIL and VRG. It aims to leverage each party’s strengths and potentials, build value chains, and promote development in the context of integration and green transformation. This is in line with government directives on enhancing cooperation between leading enterprises within their industries, contributing to national economic development.

In addition to its core sectors of rubber exploitation, processing, and trading, VRG also invests in industrial park infrastructure, high-tech agriculture, and renewable energy production. |
