On the evening of February 10th, 2023, in Ho Chi Minh City, PetroVietnam Oil Corporation (PVOIL) held a ceremony to honor "Outstanding collective - individual of 2022". In addition to the usual commendation and reward work according to general regulations, this annual ceremony is highly anticipated and is a special feature of PVOIL to honor the contributions of workers throughout the Corporation.
Attending and presenting awards to employees were Mr. Cao Hoai Duong - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Management of the Corporation; PVOIL President & CEO Doan Van Nhuom, who is also Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee along with members of the Board of Management, the General Director's Office, leaders of specialized departments of the Corporation, leaders of subordinate units, member units, and outstanding workers throughout the PVOIL system.
In 2022, for the seventh consecutive year, PVOIL organized the evaluation and awarding of the most outstanding teams and individuals. This year, the PVOIL Commendation and Reward Council received nominations from 46 teams and 52 individuals who participated in the award categories.
They held an expanded meeting to select 5 outstanding teams, 5 management officials, and 5 workers from each block (the Parent Company block and the Member Unit block), and 12 typical petroleum stations. The Council voted to select 1 outstanding team, 1 management official, 1 outstanding worker from each block, and 5 typical petroleum stations.
The evaluation and selection process was carried out transparently, democratically, and fairly from grassroots to group level, creating the brand of the "PVOIL AWARD" - a prestigious, high-quality award eagerly awaited by teams and individuals in the PVOIL system.
At the ceremony, representatives of teams and individuals expressed their honor and pride after a year of hard work and recognition on the list of award nominations. The excitement, joy, and happiness were even more amplified when the awards were kept secret until the last minute, only announced on stage at the ceremony.
At the ceremony, on behalf of the PVOIL leaders, Mr. Cao Hoai Duong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Management of PVOIL, expressed profound gratitude to the nearly 6,000 PVOIL employees, especially the outstanding individuals and collectives honored for their contributions to PVOIL's outstanding achievements in 2022, a year of exceptional difficulty for the petroleum industry. PVOIL was among the few companies to overcome challenges, leverage opportunities for development, and establish new records.
Mr. Cao Hoai Duong hoped that the company's precious rewards would further inspire enthusiasm and pride in collectives and individuals, adding motivation for them to strive for even more outstanding achievements, as well as to spread and inspire throughout the entire company, contributing to the development of PVOIL.
The award structure and results for the "Outstanding Collective - Individual of the Year 2022" titles are as follows:
The "Outstanding Collective of the Year 2022" title was awarded to 2 collectives, including one representative collective for the Parent Company and one for the Member Unit Block, which includes a symbol and a prize of 100,000,000 VND for the collective with more than 50 employees, and 70,000,000 VND for the collective with 50 employees or less.
The two outstanding collectives were honored, including the Finance-Accounting Department (Parent Company Block) and PETEC - Investment & Technology Trading Company (Member Unit Block).
The "Typical Petroleum Station of the Year 2022" title was awarded to 5 typical petrol stations representing typical petrol stations throughout the company, including a symbol and a prize of 30,000,000 VND /petrol station, in which the petrol station collective is awarded 20,000,000 VND and the petrol station manager is awarded 10,000,000 VND. The 5 honored petroleum stations were Ho Sen - PVOIL Ha Noi; Thanh To - PVOIL Hai Phong; Phu Dong - PVOIL Phu Yen; No. 8 - Phan Thiet - Binh Thuan; No. 02 - PetroMekong.
The "Outstanding Manager of the Year 2022" title was awarded to 2 individuals, including one individual representative for the Parent Company and one for the Member Unit Block, which includes a symbol and a prize of 20,000,000 VND. The two honored individuals were Mr. Hoang Dinh Tung - Head of Petroleum Product Business Department (Parent Company Block) and Mr. Bui Huu Quyen - Director of PVOIL Laos/PVOIL Laos Trading (Member Unit Block).
The title "Outstanding Employee of the Year 2022" was awarded to 2 individuals, including 1 representative from the Parent Company and 1 representative from the Subsidiary Unit, with a token and a bonus of 20,000,000 VND. Additionally, these 2 individuals will also be considered for a 2-level salary increase according to regulations. The two individuals honored are: Mr. Nguyen Van Chung - HR Specialist of the Parent Company's Office; Mr. Le Hoang My - Store Manager of Long Binh Gas Station - PVOIL Tra Vinh.
Furthermore, to encourage teams/individuals who have made excellent efforts in completing their tasks, entered the final round for voting but were not awarded the title "Outstanding Team/Individual of the Year", the PVOIL Commendation and Reward Council has agreed on the following rewards for these teams/individuals: Top 5 teams from the Parent Company/Subsidiary Unit: 10,000,000 VND /team; Top 12 gas stations: 10,000,000 VND /team; Top 5 Parent Company management/employees: 5,000,000 VND /person; Top 5 Subsidiary Unit management/employees: 5,000,000 VND /person.
