On September 13, 2023, the Customs Department of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province honored PetroVietnam Oil Corporation (PVOIL) as a unit that complies with customs laws and actively cooperates with customs authorities in the province.
PVOIL and the Customs Department of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province inked a cooperation agreement on the same day to establish regular partnerships.
At the signing ceremony, leaders of the Customs Department of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province approved the content of the signing agreement with the goal of promoting and facilitating the business community's trade activities, as well as import and export activities, to be fair, healthy, and in accordance with customs laws.
Mr. Vo Khanh Hung, Deputy General Director of PVOIL, addressed at the signing ceremony and underlined the company's long-standing collaboration with the Customs Agency, which dates back to the first batch of Vietnamese crude oil exported in 1987. At the same time, he underscored PVOIL's accomplishments in the import and export of crude oil, condensate, and oil products.
PVOIL was recognized and highly appreciated by leaders of the Customs Department of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province for not only doing a good job in accordance with the law, but also for being a leading enterprise in supporting customs to perfect customs policies and laws—taxes on import and export of crude oil and oil products, implementing a reform program, and modernizing customs procedures through the use of information technology.
The collaboration agreement inked between PVOIL and the Customs Department of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province commits the two parties to continuing to create a cooperative connection and companionship in order to achieve even better results in the future.
